I am Lincoln James Bartholomew, a six grader from Hangzhou Basis International School. I play the electric guitar, but long before that I couldn’t decide which instrument to play. In kindergarten, I played piano. This lasted for three years until I started disliking it. I then decided to learn the acoustic guitar. I liked it and wanted to get better but once again I became disinterested in this instrument. I liked the beautiful sounds of the chords, but it wasn’t exciting enough for me until I joined our band, Endless. Once I joined the band with all my friends, I became excited about the music again! I thought the electric guitar was so cool! I wanted to learn to play it well. This was perfect because the band needed an electric guitarist. I was hooked!
Besides guitar, I also enjoy many other hobbies. Hobbies I like include: reading, fishing, feeding my pet fish, playing with my two cats, and shooting Nerf guns. Fishing and reading are two of my favorite hobbies. I like the adrenaline of fishing when you lift up a fish, and I like the wonderful stories that you can read.
In our band we have a saying “Juicy”. This word describes people or things that are cool, courageous, fearless and funny. For everyone that voted for me, thank you very much and stay Juicy.
