Recently, Tan Kah Innovation Laboratory and Huawei have entered into a cooperation agreement to collaboratively establish a Smart Energy Joint Innovation Laboratory. Both Parties will engage in joint efforts to promote original technology research and expedite the industrialization of innovative outcomes. Tan Kah Innovation Laboratory has been collaboratively established by the city of Xiamen and Xiamen University, and it is one of the first provincial innovation laboratories in Fujian Province. Huawei, a leading force in China’s high-tech sector, exhibits significant technological expertise across telecommunications, AI, semiconductor solutions, intelligent driving systems, and cloud computing services. The Parties will engage in comprehensive collaboration focused on technological innovation and its application in the domains of AI, new energy, and new materials, along with smart laboratory system development and the execution of demonstration projects for smart industrial parks. This cooperation aims to facilitate full-chain innovation spanning from materials to applications in the energy sector, establishing a nationally recognized model site for smart laboratories.
近日，嘉庚创新实验室与华为就共同建设智慧能源联合创新实验室签署合作协议，双方将携手推进原创性技术攻关，加快创新成果产业化。嘉庚创新实验室由厦门市与厦门大学共同举办，是福建省首批省创新实验室之一。华为作为中国高科技企业的代表，在通信、人工智能、『芯片』、智能驾驶、云服务等多个领域具有强大的技术优势。双方将围绕人工智能以及『新能源』与新材料领域的技术创新与应用、智慧实验室系统开发、『智慧园区』示范项目建设等方面开展深度合作，支撑能源领域的“料材器用”全链条创新，打造全国一流的智慧实验室样板点。

On the evening of February 24, the “Maersk Narvik” vessel successfully docked at the Haitian Terminal of Xiamen Port, signifying the inaugural voyage of Maersk’s Southeast Asia Route HP2. To date, Xiamen Port has initiated 47 routes to Southeast Asia, the highest number among ports located along China’s south-eastern coastline, with its network covering nearly all major ports within the region. This route is exclusively operated by Maersk, which operates three 2,300 TEU vessels, with the final destination being Hai Phong Port in Vietnam. It is anticipated that Xiamen Port will receive approximately 500 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) on a weekly basis. In 2025, as economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam continues to strengthen, the demand for container shipping of goods like electronics and textiles from Xiamen to Vietnam is anticipated to experience sustained growth. The launch of Maersk’s Southeast Asia route HP2 has not only revitalized regional economic cooperation but has also strengthened the status of Xiamen Port as a significant global shipping hub, delivering considerable support for the advancement of the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
2月24日晚，“马士基纳尔维克”轮顺利靠泊厦门港海天码头，厦门港迎来了马士基东南亚航线HP2首航。至此，厦门港已开通47条东南亚航线，数量位居我国东南沿海港口之首，航线网络基本覆盖区域沿线港口。该航线由马士基独家运营，共投入3艘2300标箱船舶，最终目的地为越南海防港。预计每周可为厦门港带来约500TEU（标准箱）的吞吐量。2025年，随着中越经贸合作的深化，厦门至越南的电子产品、纺织品等货种的集装箱运输需求预计将持续增长。马士基东南亚航线HP2的开通，不仅为区域经贸合作注入了新动能，更彰显了厦门港作为国际航运枢纽的竞争力和影响力，为高质量共建“一带一路”提供了强劲支撑。
